What will you do?
Whether you work days, nights or weekends the duties for all Caregivers are basically the same. You serve the CLIENT (care recipient), providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). The kind and the amount of ADL's depends on what the client needs.
Here are some of the services that you may provide:

Help with dressing and personal grooming

Meal preparation and clean up

Shopping, errands and driving

Trips to visit friends, relatives, doctors, etc.

Light housekeeping chores

Bathing and toileting

Companionship
Do you qualify?
We attempt to pay at the top of the industry standard for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA's). However you do not have to be a CNA to work with Home Not Alone as long as you have the skills that match the needs of the Client and or Clients to whom you are assigned. As a Caregiver, you take instructions directly from the Client (or designated person with decision-making authority). Ongoing support is provided by a Case Manager who assists you in serving the client.
You must pass a criminal background check, a personal and employer reference check, a credit check, and a motor vehicle record check. You also need a valid drivers license and car.
You are an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, not an employee.
You will work as an independent contractor, which means that no taxes are withheld from your pay. Home Not Alone strives to be the "agency of choice" by maintaining a close, supportive relationship with Caregivers.
